    Haha! I loved being appealed to by my vanity to eat certain things when I was a kid. In fact, I do it today all the time to persuade others to eat my food. When my friends protest when I throw a sizeable chunk of butter into a dish, I say, “butter is good for you! Fat is good for you, and makes you look healthier!” Haha, I think I just use whatever justifications I like. But I really do like to think that most things are “good for you” one way or another. Like pork belly! I’ve only ever had it once, at Bun Mee in San Francisco this summer. Sooooo good. I can’t believe you actually cook at home! Awesome.

    This dish looks so good with the noodles, and I cannot wait to try it. I’m a big fan of pork belly and so glad to know it’s good for my skin ;)

    Loved the story. Your mom’s warning at the end of it was hilarious.

    Haven’t ever had pork belly. Looks very tempting, and as you say, if it has a good of fat, it just has to be delicious.
