    Perfect! Seriously, I was lying in bed last night trying to fall asleep and of course my mind was running through things. Most important of which — how can I make a Fall granola? I love this coconut, orange and currant one I make from Heidi’s Super Natural Every Day, but I’ve been craving something more festive. This is too perfect — I was hoping it’d have some dried cranberries in it. I need to make this pronto. As well as that pear upside-down cake you posted awhile back. I really need to find a good excuse to make that too!

    My mother has been an avid granola maker since I can remember. She’d pull the trays from the oven and set them aside to cool, and I’d grab handfuls and stuff them in my face when she wasn’t looking (which usually resulted in me burning my tongue before being chased out of the kitchen).

    She does not, however, use olive oil — I LOVE the idea! I’m totally going to sell her on this the next time I’m back at the homestead. (:
